Harmony made me curious. The signup left me stranded.

What I tried

I kept seeing Harmony promoted on X, so I opened the website out of curiosity. The idea eventually caught my interest: the coding agents I already use, sharing tasks and handing work to one another. I wanted to give it a try and went through the website signup. This review is about that first encounter, rather than the desktop workspace, which I did not get to test.

Where I got stuck

The homepage has a distinctive visual style, but I found it hard to tell what the product did at first glance. There was a lot of text to work through before the idea clicked. Then, after signup, I was redirected to https://0.0.0.0:8080/account?welcome=1 instead of a usable account page. That was where my attempt stopped; I cannot tell whether the account itself was created successfully. I also noticed the links I saw on X were missing a preview card. The website now has Twitter Card metadata, so I would check the actual shared-link preview rather than assume the tags are missing.

One thing I'd change

I would focus on the path from interest to a successful first try, starting with the post-signup redirect. A visitor who has decided to register should land somewhere useful and know what to do next. Then I would bring a plain explanation and the real workflow screenshot closer to the top of the homepage. The site says the core local workspace needs no account; making that distinction clearer would help people choose the right starting point. The idea did earn my curiosity. I would like the onboarding to carry it through.

Would I pay

Not at this point. I could not get through the signup journey I chose, so I do not yet have a reason to pay. That is a judgment about my first-run experience, not the quality of the untested desktop app. I would be happy to take another look once the broken redirect is resolved.
